Love is in the Air

If the traffic jams and crowded restaurants didn't do it, the oversized bouquets, heart-shaped chocolate boxes and sudden plethora of cuddling-crazy couples on the streets could have given you the hint: Beijing went Valentine-crazy.

Although the Chinese version of the Valentine's Day will not be until August this year, young people in China have adopted the Western tradition of giving special gifts and going out on dates for the evening on the 14th of February.

It is widely seen as a holiday for young couples and lovers. Men and women mutually give gifts, although there's probably more women on the receiving end. We went out on the streets to see what people's plans were this year.
